Beyond the Launch

Launching an initiative is only the beginning. The greatest challenge facing schools is sustaining it. Beyond the Launch explores what happens after the excitement of implementation fades and the daily work of continuous improvement begins.

Drawing on years of partnership with schools, this upcoming book examines how leaders build the systems, habits, and cultures that transform promising initiatives into lasting practice.

Sharing What Schools Have Taught Us

Every book begins with the same question: What have we learned that might help another educator improve teaching and learning?

Our publications grow out of years spent working alongside teachers, instructional coaches, principals, district leaders, and school communities navigating the everyday challenges of improvement.

The ideas within these books have been shaped through planning meetings, classroom observations, coaching conversations, professional learning, reflection, and continuous refinement. They represent lessons learned through implementation. We write because we believe that when educators share what they’ve learned, every school benefits

Reading Is the Beginning. Implementation Creates the Impact

Ideas become meaningful when they influence what happens in classrooms, collaborative teams, and schools. Throughout this website, you’ll find opportunities to continue exploring the ideas introduced in our books through practical articles, webinars, real school improvement stories, and the services that support implementation.
